Reverse Osomosis Purifiers
In the Reverse Osmosis (R.O.) process water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane that separates out the impurities and rejects them to the household drainage system.
The R.O. membrane deals equally with bacteriological, chemical, organic and non-organic contamination. It will remove up to 98% of all pollutants.
Diamond Spring RO purification combines reverse osmosis with other forms of treatment. Firstly, the water passes through a dirt/sediment filter. This removes particles which may damage the membrane.
Then it passes through activated carbon to remove chlorine and some chemical compounds. This pre-treatment helps to extend the serviceable life of the membrane.
After passing through the R.O. membrane the purified water passes through a granular activated carbon filter, which acts to remove any flavour from the now purified water and guarantees that the water tastes good.
Finally, we add a special re-mineralising and pH balancing media cartridge.
Its main purpose is to ensure that your purified water is pleasant to taste.
Thus this multi-stage process is capable of dealing with any problem.
